MEET CAROLE, MY STORY
MY BEGININNINGS: FROM THE FRENCH RIVER, TO PARIS, INDIA THEN KENYA!
At my very early age, I remember my older brother having a subscription to the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC magazine. I remember being fascinated by the pictures of the Papua New Guinea tribes when I could put my hands on a copy. My dear mom would hide them, thinking those photos of naked people were a bit avant garde for a 4 year old. I have a feeling that is where my insatiable love of travel started.
In the years to follow, I read all the “LES AVENTURES DE TINTIN” animated books that exist. I started traveling early in my life thanks to Hergé. Did you?
I started traveling at the early age of 16 with a school trip to France, and an exchange program to New Brunswick. In my 11th grade, my English teacher (from India) triggered my insatiable curiosity to explore the world.
Living in a beautiful region of pristine rivers, lakes and forests, I also discovered the joys of canoeing. Traveling and canoeing are my passions.
A CAREER IN TRAVEL AND TOURISM
I studied travel immediately after high school, and the rest is history. Working in different facets of the travel and tourism industries, I am at my happiest sharing my love of adventure, wildlife and polar travel. This type of travel is me, who I am and what I believe in.
ADVENTURE TRAVEL
I joined an agency specializing in Adventure Travel in 1990. My first adventure was a safari to Kenya. Being a lover of the outdoors and wildlife, it was a perfect debut. Meeting the Masai tribes was such a moving moment for me. Africa will always be close to my heart.
My paSSION FOR THE POLAR EXTREMES
ARCTIC AND ANTARCTICA
My passion for the Arctic started in 2015, traveling on an expedition ship. I was mesmerized by hours of magical ribbons of green lights dancing in the skies of Hudson Bay for five consecutive evenings. It was magical. I got hooked and transported by the “Arctic Gods”.
Antarctica grew slowly and surely on me. The polar regions have become my second home and I always look forward returning every time.

FOR YOU
Today, I consider myself a knowledgeable, enthusiastic travel consultant and a passionate world traveler. I care. I put myself in your shoes. I have no ends to finding the perfect voyage for you, helping you make your travel dream come true.
My reward is listening to your delightful stories on how you were blown away and how your trip surpassed your expectations. This, to me, is so gratifying. I know I did my best. This has kept me going in this vibrant industry for over 45 years!
FOR THE PLANET
I also care for our planet, our wildlife, our people and their cultural and traditions. How do I make a difference? I believe in shopping local, supporting local as much as possible. I choose to work with smaller family run operators and accommodations. We become an international family of loyal friends. I encourage them to share their local culture as much as possible.
I recycle at home and whatever I bring with me on my travels comes back with me. My motto is to leave no footprints and come back only with great memories.
